  14. We have to wait for the 2025 trade deadline. That is when teams will start to feel the tax/apron, and then cave in.

    9:22 – Taking a step early would have been tricky.
    Covid, and then playing Tampa,

    We returned home, got Scottie in the process, to be a connective piece, The local media hated it.
    Early in the season it was clear we should be building around Scottie.

    Even after that great rookie year, the media wanted to package him in KD trade (I was against that from the start)

    The casuals and local Raptors media would have rioted if traded Pascal and Fred, after making the playoffs. at that point.

    So Bring in a former Raptor, Jakob, and the media and casuals were overjoyed.

    Then we had to phase them out slowly.

    Bringing in Dennis was stopgap gamble.

    and last season was 5 different teams in one, none of the media wants to acknowledge that, rather they just want to look at the end numbers.

  16. Raptors got DOG WALKED for Pascal. Bruce Brown is not the problem. Management seems to be working with half a brain.
    I believe 50 yrs down the line Raptor may say they got the better of the deal, but wasting years is not acceptable. If I didn't like Ujiri and his buddy I would send them packing. But I know Ujiri is a Champion. I'm just wondering why the plethora of foolishness

  17. Absolutely we lost. Nwora and Lewis are out the league, brown was suppose to be flipped at the deadline or this offseason at worst but wasn't, one of those picks went to Utah for Agbaji n Olynyk which I think would've been better keeping. So that leaves us Ja'Kobe n a 2026 pick from a team that might be a contender that year.

  18. Trade deadline day in 2023 i said, "Masai just screwed the Raps for the next 5 years" for not trading away anyone but did trade our pick to san an for Poetl. 3.5 years to go on that. So when the win 31 games this season im not surprised. We either got nothing for our core in guys like vanvleet n gary or got peanuts for waiting in Saikim. OGs trade the only saving grace.
