Tulsky updates

Looks like this is the main group the team is rolling with, and that Tulsky is pivoting to try and keep Necas.

  1. Really hard to tell how they will piece together this forward lineup. Seems like there is going to be a huge hope that out of the new signings, rookies, plus Drury and Kotkaniemi, two of them step up to be top 6 contributors. You’ve only got 4 sure things in the top 6 right now. You could pencil the lineup out in so many different ways.

    Svechnikov – Aho – Jarvis
    Roslovic – Drury – Necas
    Carrier – Staal – Martinook
    Nadeau – Kotkaniemi – Fast/Robinson/Jost/Lemieux

One of infinite possibilities. And of course you could give Necas his shot at center on the second line.

  2. I’m cool with keeping Necas. Nobody does offensive zone entries like him.

  3. Oof, very weak offense. Gonna need some guys to take a big step up if we’re going to make the playoffs.

  4. makes sense. basically since the Guentzel deal fell through it’s seemed like the msot likely course. Org’s stubbornness can sometimes be to their benefit – they won’t trade Necas if it doesn’t improve the team. Still, hope they can find some linemates to give him support 5 on 5

  5. Hopefully if it’s not a long term deal, it’s a 1 year deal. Keeps him as an rfa and gives us a bit more leverage

  6. If we keep Necas, we NEED to put him in the middle and see what he can do. Enough of this wing bs. What do we have to lose?

  7. Say the line Tulsky

“Free Agency isn’t over after day 1”

Was dumb when he said it and it’s dumb now. Teams are 95% done after the first couple days of FA
