  1. Love to see that high-powered Cubs’ offense coming out of the gates hot after the all-star break.

  2. This is just a squad of losers. Individually they may be able to be on winning teams, but collectively this group of individuals is built to lose.

  3. CC is low energy and definitely not the same manager he was on the brewers. Also fuck that ump

  4. I know it’s a dumb thing to be hung up on, but it makes me so mad that Counsell didn’t get tossed when the the ump was terrible and the offense was lifeless for a majority of the game. Stick up for your guys and try and inject some life into the team because the level headed approach hasn’t worked all season in these situations.

  5. “Besides the two innings diamondbacks scored, it would have been a win for Cubs” Front Office

  6. I wish they were better. It doesn’t look like they will be. They are not constructed well at all. Pitching is good, offense is anemic and bullpen is awful. You can’t win with systemic inefficiencies such as those. Watch baseball, love the game, enjoy the best sport in the world. But don’t expect a great or fundamental turnaround by this team. They simply do not have those critical pieces in place this season. I wish it were otherwise! But it’s not. Sad to say. 🙁

  7. Team doesnt want it this year…no care, no interest, no grit, no heart. The complexion of this team has to change and be shaken up, which is why we should sell if the next two games go bad as well
