The big thing that makes this frustrating is that we are letting go of Sprong, Fabbri, and Walman already and they're all far better than Veleno
So this pretty much confirms, Nate and Kasper are going back to the AHL again, for ah guy that would barley crack the 2nd line postion on the Sharks
What is with Yzermans upsession with mid
I think this is an "eh" deal. He did show flashes last year of potential but he was also playing with guys that, well, aren't signed anywhere right now and fighting for their NHL lives. So he wasn't with "good" players, anything that happened on his shifts was mostly all because of him. Give him decent linemates and he could pop 18ish goals and 20+ assists for maybe a 35-40 point season. If that's the case, good deal. If he gets only like 20 points, then bad deal. Ultimately, time will tell.
He started last season on fire. I like the guy and I don't mind this contract at all.
