Votto re-injures ankle, scratched from lineup for Jays’ Triple-A affiliate

So far he can't stay healthy enough to even play in the minors. He needs to face the fact his body is betraying him at this point. The will to play is there but the ability isn't.

Love Joey but he should have retired as a red last year. This is becoming sad to see.

I’m sorry, I love Joey, but he should’ve hung it up and taking a coaching gig here in Cincinnati.
I wouldn’t be shocked if he announced his retirement really soon. Baseball gods are trying to give him the signs.
Thing is, he’s still technically a career Red having never taken an MLB level bat for the Blue Jays.
The spirit is willing, but the flesh is spongy and bruised.
