Chiefs aim to decide stadium plans within next 6 months

AKA decide to go to KS with the STAR Bonds
Can’t wait.
Lease is up in a little over 6 years, 2-3 years to build, 2 years for procurement/engineering/permitting, a year of contract litigation. Not to mention they probably need to work with Evergy to beef up their substations out there to support a (maybe 2) new stadium(s).
Obviously none of that is necessary if they stay but the Chiefs aren’t going to wait past the point of no return to have a new site ready by the time the lease is up
