Jaguars place former 49ers standout Arik Armstead on PUP list ahead of 2024 training camp

Pretty sure just recovering from offseason surgery. He may not be on the team but Armstead is the man.
Maybe he is too traumatized from the amount of “disrespect” from the Niners. 🙄

Love Arik, but this is why we had to let him go.

Still weird not seeing him in red
Still gotta see how the season plays out but forcing Armstead to choose between taking a paycut or getting let go was the right decision.
He’s hardly ever healthy and his main strength can be mostly replicated from a run stopper that costs way less and could potentially be healthier. An edge rusher who can help out Bosa is a better investment and even then, we got Floyd on a good contract
He was always Trash. Not sure why people in SF loved him.
He is a sit out more than a standout, unfortunately. Still rooting for him though.

I don’t think he was better than Buckner. To be a 1st rounder. He never played like it. Sorry. It’s what it is. Production was not there. Sorry fellas
11 total tackles last post season and one sack. 30 million well spent. 😀
Hope he’s ready to fully go for the season. I’m still going to watch their games when I can and root for him. That man bleeds red and gold to the core. Nothing will change that.

It doesn’t sound like he’s that far off from getting on the field, but still, just last month the reporting was that he would be ready by the start of camp, and that looks like it won’t happen.
