  1. It all depends on how many players go down with injuries that last for a significant amount of time. If they remain healthy and not loose too many games due to injuries they could come close to making the playoffs, if they have a lot of players go down with injuries for a long periods of time then they will be near the bottom of the league.

  2. RHP is a fringe player at best and really shouldn't be playing while holding prospects back. Should be trying to make a deal to unload Barron as well. Hasn't shown any improvement at all and we have lots of responsible D ready to claim a spot.

  3. RHP did himself no favors. Don't know how he got hurt but if he put himself in a dangerous situation to get hurt when he's trying to make the nhl club full time you gotta wonder how serious he's taking his career. Now if he got hurt training for the season I'll eat my hat and wish him the best in recovery.

  4. I feel like Roy wants to take his time developing with the Canadians. So i genuinely believe if they start him on the third line and let him take over and let him feel comfortable. Next year he would be a candidate for a comfortable top 6 forward for sure.

  5. I see us jumping between 5th and 7th throughout the season, and depending on how we go we'll either make a little push for a wildcard spot or tank for another top 10 pick.

  6. Still think Hughes should go after Kaliyev from L.A. KINGS ..!! HE IS 6'2" AND is only 23 yrs. Old ..!! He had solid scoring numbers in junior hockey …and is worth the gamble .!! Go for it KENT ..!!

  7. Meh, RHP is really no great loss. A fourth liner at best who will be squeezed out anyway as our prospects develop. I'd much rather have Simoneau on the team who, although smaller, plays a lot bigger and tougher than RHP.

  8. Demidov reminds me a little of Datsyuk. Not really a big guy, not the fastest, lots of skills and deceptively good on defense
