How good would Sandis Ozolinsh be in today’s game?

It would be roughly the same: explosive offense with not a thought of actually playing defense.
Why oh why is this a post
I’m probably thinking about this too hard, but he would kind of suck/ wouldn’t be in the league if you just transplanted him in now. Puck skills are way better now than the 90s heyday for Sandis. He was probably one of the worst defensive players in the league at that time to boot.
If the question is asking if he was able to train in modern facilities and benefit from modern nutrition and training practices growing up, then he probably looks like a guy that would only ever get starts in the offensive zone and on PP.
Having said that, loved this guy. Equal opportunity defenceman that certainly made the game entertaining both ways.
Loved that guy. His name is one of my all time NHL faves.
Had to Google who MDA was…the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim.
Power play specialist. Would likely get exposed more in this faster era
