  1. I’ve come here specifically to chime in and say:

YES! they failed. Particularly the front office regarding asset management and personnel.

Adam Simon is killing it with the draft trying to redeem Pat. But make no mistake unless they get healthy and get to the finals again or win this season it has all been a failure

  2. No it hasn’t been a failure. I love having the standards set so high, but as fans we shouldn’t be so entitled. Continue to invest in player development, and stay competitive til the right moves present themselves. This is still perennial playoff contender and free agency destination with talented young players on the roster. A top 10 talent going to Miami wasn’t gonna happen this off-season. Let’s not eat ourselves up over it. Also enjoy the summer title 👑

  3. Heat couldn’t run it back or it woulda been a failure!
They added Alec burks as free agent. 😢
In other words we ran it back!
Most would consider it a failure!
With that said, we added exactly what we needed to take another step and it’s a big man.
Ware’s defense partnered with bam will make us a top 5 defense and take us far!
    Miami it’s champs or bust!
    Gots to luv it!!!!

  4. I wouldn’t say they failed because they weren’t in the position to make any significant moves. Heat fans that don’t understand the cap/aprons and how little assets the Heat have expected too much and as a result feel disappointed. There wasn’t much they could do besides sign their own draft picks and minimums.

  5. Im excited for this upcoming season. (1) We will get to see a full season of the Heat with Terry Rozier and they can build some chemistry with Rozier. (2) Jaquez Jr and Niko Jovic are still evolving and have not yet assumed their final form (keep an eye on Nikola Jovic, i don't think he's anywhere near his ceiling yet, he just turned 21) (3) The Heat had a great draft, KWare has a special feel for the game. Lastly, you can't get something for nothing. In 2019 the Clippers traded a 19 year old SGA and 4 first round picks for paul george. SGA is now an MVP caliber player and paul george is gone. Clips got no championship and OKC has SGA to build around for the next 10 years. I think Heat fans should not be so eager to see our young talent be traded away for anyone not named Anthony Edwards. Thank you for listening to my rant.

  6. C'mon David… You don't know if the Knicks are Better??? C'mon bro, you're sounding like the other Local Podcast 😂😂😂 Ps you guys are talking about Heat injuries, while saying Nothing about Philly (Embiid), Milwaukee (Giannis Middleton), Knicks (Everybody), Boston (Porzingis), Cleveland (Mitchell, Garland,Allen) etc… What about the other teams Injuries??? Kind of Important guy's

  7. the real question is:
    what you expected?

i expected nothing bcs thats whats they givin' us in the last years. Jimbo and Bam will not be helped. this "culture" talk is becoming a mousetrap to the fanbase. its good for the FO to invest in "Heat Culture" bcs they can get away with singning some mid ass players and no stars/starters.

  8. We’re going to look back on this offseason as one of the key moments long term because of Kel’el Ware, Pelle Larsson, and Keshad Johnson

  9. Running it back part 3…. I'm so disgusted…. The only bright spot this season will be the young guys which probably wouldn't even get enough playing time unless for injuries…. We were a play in team 2 years in a row.. And also those two years we ran it back… Meanwhile everybody around us continues to get better.. And yet somehow we think we're going to be better this year? Just flat out disgusting

  10. David always talks about how he doesn’t believe in the draft and dismisses high draft picks, but now wants to pretend the Heat replaced talent through their low draft picks and will be better than last year. Can’t have it both ways. Those players won’t be ready to contribute at an NBA level.

  11. For all of the teams that did all of the trading…etc, over the last five years….how far did they get compared to miami…the only reason they were out early this year…was because their two top players were injured…Fans are the worse GM's always…because they look at what others do…instead to doing what They know best to do for their organization. Wes Goldberg is the ultimate pessimist….how often has he been right…The grass is always greener on the other side.If miami is relatively healthy….fans will be singing a different tune….David is more sound in this soundbite…doing stufff… to do stufff….willl ruin your organization….stop being a fan…and just look around the nba landscape…Move on… seriously 😮

  12. The heat are already invested in young studs, they should have traded jimmy to the spurs and get the atlanta picks, might get cooper. Miami are stuck with no assets.. they could get 6-7 1st rounder for jimmy and tyler
