I’m starting to think the Rangers won’t be selling at the deadline. They’re only 2.5 games back in their division. Not good news for the Twins because that would eliminate three starting pitchers from the trade market.
Kikuchi and Flaherty might be the only playoff caliber, rental starters available. Don’t see them giving Detroit prospects. I think some desperate teams are going to outbid the Twins for Kikuchi.
Best course it action might be to get a backend starter to make it through the regular season and further strengthen the bullpen. I’d also like a better right handed outfielder than Margot but I doubt they’ll do that.
Gonna be at the game tonight wearing my bright blue twins jersey. Love when they come to Detroit

They claimed Deyvison De Los Santos in the rule five draft last offseason, let him go, and he’s hit .325 with 28 homers in AA/AAA so far this year and was just traded in the Puk deal lol
