  1. Are the players that Mr Staios picked up going to help the Sens win on the road??? because now the players are going to have to re-adjust to the new players coming in. This year we're in luck, because with a quick 3 game road trip in October, followed by another road trip in Oct/November setting up the 9 game road trip in Dec/January. We, as fans, are going to know even quicker then we knew last year. Forget the ideas of overtimes and overtime points, last year Sens didn't get those points until end of Dec (not counting the Global Series) and mid-January, fully realizing that other teams want to make the playoffs too. How have the Sens 'out-bid/out-traded' all the other teams? Is Jensen really the answer? Is Ullmark the answer? If he was the answer, why did Boston choose to keep Swayman over Ullmark?

  2. Great show boys.

It's awesome to get insight into the Sens management philosophy. To paraphrase Steve, eager to improve but patient for results. Love it.

  3. Thanks for asking him if he's happy with his team's toughness, I know I'm annoying with it, but I love having a fighter 😅

Great episode. You guys have been unreal these past few weeks!

  4. the summer of coming in hot continues. I remember only a few months ago it was Yorkie sitting alone silently waiting for wally to get his connection back. Now look at you guys, what a glow up. As I commented on the last video, the guests have been amazing, can't wait for the season to start.

  5. I enjoyed that terrific hockey conversation. I didn't think Chychrun was good at all, last season….and I thought he was really soft, too, which really surprised me, but that's not to say he won't be better elsewhere. Great interview! SS is awesome!

  6. I think what I enjoy the most about Steve is he doesn't give us dumbass statements like PD did. That man was a walking punch line that we were made fun of for cause he'd always say dumb shit. Like calling the Stone trade his proudest one? Staios is a breath of fresh air.

  7. On the return for Chychrun.
He sat on the market for like a year or more. Only until Dorion came along and paid the hefty asking price (that nobody else wanted to pay) did he end up in Ottawa. We FOR SURE overvalued him based on that price and we were wrong.

  8. We are so lucky to have these guy's in the organization helping to clean previous bs! Lovee it #GoSensGo

if not next season playoffs then it's the next 100% and for a very long long time!! 💪 lets gooooo

  9. Well, we have heard the sweet talking for how many years now? The only thing that matters now is winning. We need to win period. If Steve can’t get it done next year and we don’t make the playoffs, then he failed. We win he succeeded. I don’t care how good he sounds, I want to see us make the playoffs.

  10. Dorion was there because he came cheap. He never would have been a GM in the NHL. Doug McLean summed it up best when he said on air that rumour was that Dorion had to have all his suits taken out at the chest because of the "Summer of Pierre". You would never hear any other GM spoken about like that in public. It was funny watching Nick Kypreos trying not to laugh.

  11. The Three Amigos have done a wonderful show once again. Keep up the great work guys, it's been a pleasure watching your show as of late as you've had so many great guests. Be careful Wally we're going to expect these type of great guests every week if you keep up on this roll. Just listening to Steve Staios gives you a calming effect that we are in good hands. He knows the game, he knows what he's got to do, he's not going to make any major reactions. I was not a huge fan of the Chych deal but there are a lot of variables and also a few things that are off the Record and why that deal needed to happen sooner than later. I don't think he's delusional like Dorian was you seem to be bipolar when it came towards the team and it was hard to have confidence in him because you weren't sure if he was going to get Savaged in a trade or he was going to make a way like a bandit. Steve brings stability, calmness and being a former player understands what it takes to put together a good organization and team. Congratulations to Wally on a great season of coming in hot, you're always elevating your game and making it a must see TV for fans. Yorkies insights and ability to see the bigger picture of the game is always great. Simmers former management skills brings a great perspective to the show he's a pretty funny guy at the same time. Expect big things from you guys next season because you're on a roll. Time for Wally and the team to make the playoffs! All your hard work is paying off and I wish you all the best I'll be here for every episode as always thank you guys.

  12. Gary Roberts is the more recognized name to most hockey fans but, yeah, Matt Nichol's doing strength training combined with Travis Green as a coach… this Ottawa team will be in far better shape than previous seasons.
