Russia’s goaltending is insane but that defense…ouch
Canadian goaltending doesn’t inspire loads of confidence.
As good as Canada looks on the top end, the goal tending is looking pretty weak.

Man I miss watching Russia in international hockey. WJCs haven’t felt the same without them. It would be great if they’d get out of Ukraine so their players could represent their country again, in addition to the 1000 other reasons it would be great…
Canadian goaltending is an absolute crapshoot at the moment. Gotta hope a reliable talent emerges.

Finland forwards looking like they’d be hell to play against. Their centers are Barkov, Aho, Hintz, and Lundell? Fuck me I’d hate to play against them.
My two takeaways:
1. Canada should be embarrassed by the state of their goaltending development.
2. With the Nova Scotia line, there’s not a chance in hell Crosby is on the wing instead of MacKinnon. Sid won 58.2% of his draws last year and has 15 seasons above 50%. Nate was at 46.2% last year and has only been above 50% once. Keep the line. Switch the center.
I assume Panarian is left off because the only one not s’ing Putin’s D
