The Mariners May Have MORE TRADES Coming!
The Mariners kicked off the 2024 trade deadline in a big way by acquiring outfielder Randy Arozarena from the Tampa Bay Rays last night. The return for the Rays ended up being 3 prospects. Outfielder Aidan Smith, Pitcher Brody Hopkins, and a player to be named later. With the trade market finally in motion it does seem though that the Mariners aren’t quite done yet.

It doesn't matter who they bring in. Arozarena is just going to rot. Even Shohei can't save this team as long as Dipshit and Service are managing it.

Randy is great, welcome to Seattle! That said, need to get another one or two high impact bats.
I have to admit that I was a bit more optimistic after reading about this trade. But, unlike many, I wasn't really down and out about the team. I believe that they have the ability to get their Mojo back because there always seems to be peaks and valleys throughout the season and I was hoping they would start trending up. Hopefully, we will get a few more trades completed, and the team can finish out the season strong. Go Mariners!

Fun random fact since I hear Vladdy Jr rumors, I went to a game where Franklin Gutierrez robbed a HR from Josh Hamilton. Next batter I think, Vladdy (Sr) bashed a 3-run HR. It was such a roller coaster moment I couldn't help but laugh.
