With France looking like they’re going to burst onto the scene as the clear third biggest bastion of international talent for the foreseeable future, I feel like Parker’s going to be starting to get a lot of the love and credit he deserves for spreading the international game that previously eluded him

   As someone who was born in Europe and goes back there frequently, a lot of people don’t understand how huge he is not just in France but in European basketball in general. The guy is an absolute icon of the game and has done so much for basketball abroad, inspiring so many kids.
