  1. Can anyone think of a recent brewers SP with more variance in starts than Freddy?

Some days it’s ELITE shit, others he looks like he doesn’t belong in the majors. And you never know which one you’re getting

  2. With our starting pitching, does anyone believe this team can compete in a playoff game if we likely fall behind 2-0 to the Dodgers, Padres, Phillies, etc.?

  3. Genuinely think this team needs to buy a significant bat at the deadline. Crazy to say with our lack of deep SP.

Good news is the bullpen has been lights out and Chourio has been really good. Don’t make a panic move, but please realize turang, Ortiz and others aren’t producing.

  4. Just tuned in for the last two outs. Glad I didn’t sit though that apparent torturous dumpster fire.

  5. 1-9 with RISP. 7 runs all week. Simple as that. Pitching can’t be perfect every game we need to score over 3 runs again. Turang and Ortiz are the difference makers on offense and made the offense what it was in their peak and one is in a 6/52 slump and the other is in a 19/100.

  6. 19 runs (only counting 9 innings) in 6 games following the all star break. Would be slightly above the White Sox if drawn over the season.

  7. Was at an early b-day dinner, but doesn’t look like I missed too much…

Cmon Brew Crew…You HAVE to win games like this at home.

  8. Ehh the doomer in me from the GT is gone. Gonna have days like this. It has been a good start sense the AS break on the road no less so I am not upset.

I do want the Brewers to get the second seed if they make it, but they need to keep up with LA. Plus this way I can save a few bucks for play off tickets cuz its 3 less games to pay ahead for lol.

  9. Playing against bad teams at home has been a struggle lately.

Can we go back on the road again, please?

  10. Freddy needs to be moved down the starting rotation.

Our offense is and has been impotent/feckless against a majority of other teams starters for awhile now

At this point being in first place is impressive considering the amount of different starting pitchers we’ve put out there but at the same time we really haven’t been playing like a first team for a bit here.

I think we hang in there to procure a playoff spot but get bounced quickly especially if Freddy is still our ‘ace’.
