He was a one time mascot for the now two year gone reverse retro jersey, but still shows up in that jersey that you can’t buy now if you wanted to?

I don’t know the story behind the mascot still being around but the jersey is really easy to find, there’s a good amount on ebay right now.
I agree that it’s time for Metal to move on, send him to Trois-Rivières he’d probably look dope in their kit. maybe show up to battle Youppi! once in a blue moon.
with re to the jersey availability you’re way of though. not only can you still buy the jersey on the Tri-Colore website, but there is A TON of legit blanks and popular player options available on ebay marketplace.
I’m guessing he tested pretty well with fans and so they decided to keep him around.
Poor Metal. Can you imagine having your boss send you to the mascot convention only yo go on socials afterwards to say it sucked you showed up? I expect better from the Habs organisation tbh. Smh.

I remember being at a Steel Panther concert and them introducing Metal to the audience… right before they played their song “Asian Hooker”. I thought it was part of a Steel Panther skit only to find out later that Metal is actually an official Canadiens mascot.
