  1. Unlike MANY athletes, including a lot of those that came through Philly, Bradberry doesn’t shy away from talking about his play. He doesn’t make excuses. He doesn’t point the finger at other people. He may get traded or cut, but I hope he can stay on somehow if he improves. He’s a good role model for young guys. Blankenship talked about his leadership and example today.

  2. Bradberry is as good as it gets when it comes to personal accountability, and no real fan blame him for the actual SB loss. One bull shit play did not determine that game.

  3. I just saw the interview and thought the same thing, I feel for him. He could have easily not reported and handcuffed the team. Not that his value after last year is very high anyway. But this is the kind of guy that is great to have around the team, a lot of young guys can learn from his attitude. I’d like to keep him around.

  4. …and our fans will still shit on him no matter what.

The hate they carry is real strange.

  5. I could deal with less class and better on-field performance. I don’t go out to eat with the guy, I watch him play football.

  6. He is so wise and classy, he sets a great example. I wonder if he is a Christian man, he has a spiritual peace about him.

  7. No matter how poorly he he played last year, between addressing the SB holding call and now this, Bradberry has my respect for life.

  8. Watching his presser today actually made me feel bad for all the terrible things I said about the guy last year

  9. Facts, if we’re paying him and he’s not been a problem in the locker room but the opposite. Willing to be flexible and show the young guys how to be a pro then why not keep a classy guy who’s willing to put the team first as an insurance policy?

  10. There are lots of eagles who are classy

His play was abysmal. Is PFF I believe was like 50, which is well below backup player

The solution was for him to play at his skill level, not to be classy about playing so bad

  11. Unfortunately, this is a baller ass attitude. Fuck you Bradberry, you’re a good man.

  12. Hes pretty smart as far as football IQ goes he’s just slow as dirt. Lost his step early. Safety would be good for him. Call up Malcom Jenkins – he did the switch early in his career and it worked out just fine.

  13. I mean, he’s a very aware athlete. He knows that he didn’t play well last year and probably has a good idea as to why. They drafted two corners in the first two rounds that’s not exactly subtle.

I don’t think he’s going to be on the team this season but I respect the fact that he’s trying.

  14. Nothing but respect for JB. Had a bad year on the field and aged a little, but who doesn’t.

    All the best.

  15. That’s why it absolutely killed me to see him play poorly last year. Dude is a class act.

  16. As bad as his play was last year, I’d love for him to have an awesome season this year whether playing CB or Safety
