The Toronto Marlies have signed forward Alex Nylander to a one-year AHL contract

I honestly wish we would’ve kept him at least for a similar contract but meh, our forwards are full so we might as well see what our draftees look like
Really thought CBJ would find a way to keep him and see if he could build off the end of the last season. I get there aren’t many spots available but you can’t deny how good he looked as a Blue Jacket. Hope he finds a way onto the Leafs roster and gets to play with his brother.
Little risk in doing the same with the Monsters but Waddell knows what he’s doing.
He fit here and was kinda blowing up. I feel like this was a mistake but who knows
Team is moving in new direction, couldn’t keep a spot for him despite how well he played at the end of the season.
Kinda reminded me of how well Liam Foudy was doing in the same role the season before. When given 1st line minutes, they actually produced some numbers.
