  1. Struck out 8 times by a rookie who couldn’t find the zone. I defy you to convince me Alex Cintron isn’t a liability.

  2. Disappointing loss, but a series win against the Doyers is always welcome

  3. 2/3 against the doyers would have been great. But the Mariners somehow managed to sweep the White Sox despite playing against their 3 best pitchers. 2 of which are having their best seasons. Where was the killer instinct? We embarrassed these fucks in the first two but can’t finish the fucking job? Come on. We’re still going to the world series but shit like this is annoying as fuck.

  4. Still only counts as one!

2 of 3 was great, only way it could have been better was getting runs off Joe Kelly.

  5. Sweep would’ve been nice but they’re still on the up. The Rangers getting swept makes me feel better about the AL West race going forward. Overall a good weekend for our team.

  6. Ain’t even mad. I knew winning the series would be enough to ruin their weekend lmao.

  7. Could’ve been an easily winnable game if the offense didn’t treat rookie and mid pitchers like the second coming of Cy Young. Doesn’t matter, we still took the series! On to the next! FTD! FJK!!!

  8. At least we took the series but that game was very winnable until we gave up only down 3-2.

Skenes is either going to pitch a CGSO on 78 pitches or get rocked for 5ER in 4IP. Nothing in between.

  9. So doesn’t look like we’re getting anyone splashy at the trade deadline. The good ones are gone.

  10. Hard to be mad after winning the series still. Mariners got the cake walk that is the White Sox, they will hopefully get their rude awakening that they still suck come the Red Sox series

Just keep winning series. Don’t care how, don’t care who against. Winning series get you to the playoffs.

  11. Well, 2 outa 3:ain’t bad, but it’s like we have some kind of reserve of energy that the whole team gets at times, like last night.

  12. Before the series I would’ve been glad with 2/3, so here we are. Just glad that series is over with and ready to move on to the trades and such

  13. I swear some of y’all would only be happy if we won every game and swept every series… we are a spoiled bunch with the amount of success this team has had in recent years

  14. Obviously I’d prefer to sweep of the dodgers but I’ll take 2 outta 3.

  15. My brother is fucking cursed

Everytime I take him to a game the home teams lose

  16. If we need anything, we need pitching. Injury reinforcements would certainly help.

2/3 against a good team is always welcome.

  17. Between the doomers, Espada haters, and Chasistans, this thread should be fun. There will be lots of negativity even though we just won the series from the Dodgers.

  18. Can’t be too mad about this one. Dodgers are a good team, and they will get theirs. Happy we won the series. Let’s wreck the Buccos now.

  19. Sucks, but a series win is a series win. I just wish we could’ve done something against Joe Smelly as a consolation prize.

But we do have a bit of a MRP problem. Dubin is not a good long relief guy, and Montero is Montero.

Back to being tied. I was expecting the White Sox to roll over, but I wasn’t expecting to stay in first, so that is always welcome.

Tall task tomorrow. Let’s see if they’re up to the challenge.

  20. 2-3 would feel a lot better if the Mariners didn’t just finish sweeping what could quite literally be the worst team to ever play baseball.

  21. 2/3 against dodgers and the one we lose is Areigheti / none of our bullpen big 3.

We will always lose some – this isn’t one to be mad about.

Go Astros and let’s go light up this Skenes kid

  22. Lol, Joe Smelly is a grade A hater

(referring to him saying that “the boos weren’t loud enough”)

  23. Those dodgers fan running in mobs gotta be the most insecure thing I’ve ever seen in this city

Astros took their series get fucked Dodger fans
