Celebrini Not Enough To Save Sharks | SJS Top-5 Fantasy Options | Eklund, Smith, Zetterlund Rising

It’s not always going to be pretty when it comes to digging for fantasy hockey value, and that is exactly the case with assessing and analyzing the San Jose Sharks and their potential lineup of fantasy-worthy players next season. Names across the board could fit the top five other than the obvious in top draft pick in the NHL Macklin Celebrini, but other names offer intrigue as well in terms of fantasy targets that could be considered at the back end of drafts come September that include Tyler Toffoli, Mikael Granlund, William Ekland, and even Will Smith and Fabian Zetterlund.

  1. Shakir Mukhamadullin is going to be undrafted in fantasy & has banger league massive upside potential. This is a guy that I’m going to keep my eye on for the waiver wire early in the season. He was the big piece the sharks got from the devils in the Timo Meier trade.

  2. Yes last year Granlund was the only quality fantasy pick this year it’s Couture, Granlund, Eklund, Celebrini, Smith, and Toffoli. That’s a huge jump
I’m quality. Sharks won’t be contenders (obviously) but sharks will be significantly better

  3. The shark tank is a great place and while we’re not a typical hockey town we live our sharks and just look a season ticket sales this off-season have been amazing! Sharks likely will have 75% to sell out crowds this year despite us looking at a bottom 5 finish. Don’t bash fans we support this team and what Grier is doing!

  4. If Eklund had 45 points last year, is a year older and will have better teammates, shouldn’t we expect him to be up near 55-60 points? In which case, why’s he below Smith? I’m excited for him, but seems crazy to think he’ll have better production in his rookie year than Eklund.
