Pace isn't the perfect stat but still feels like given Mavs are 7th in pace (up from 28th) & Kings are 14th, playing 'fast' or 'slow' wouldn't inherently have been the difference.. coach preference + buy-in can affect that a lot
Kings would be way better if they had Luka yes
And the Mavs were in the finals while the kings were where?
They would probably be better cause having a talent like that always puts you in a place to contend. But also like every what if there is no one guaranteed possibility. Maybe the become consistent contenders or the kings couldve fumbled building around Luka and he leaves. It probably works out better because having a generational talent is always better than usually
