Best/worse hitters with RISP so far this season

Not gonna lie. Didnt excpect Shohei to be the worst.

  1. id be interested to see someone with a brain doing analysis on this. for instance, how often is shohei playing against a reliever when there is a runner in scoring position? what is the relative strength of the relievers versus starters? etc etc

  2. I feel like Steer always clutches up in those situations, so this chart ain’t lying

  3. This one’s a bit misleading. It’s comparing players to themselves (their difference in OPS vs OPS with RISP) not to other players. Not who is actually best and worst.

  4. My boy Rocchio is in my opinion so historically bad at the plate and such an awful hitter it gives me a feeling that my insides are bleeding.

  5. With how bad Arcia has been at the plate this year, it’s crazy that he’s somehow so much worse with RISP. Bros hot garbage at the plate.

  6. Your title is misleading, this is not the best or the worst, it’s the biggest difference in ops with RISP and without

  7. This stat to me is incorrectly advertised…. This is the biggest difference not best/worst.

To get the best and worst I’d say you take whoever has the best/worst numbers with risp period. Not compared to their average.

  8. All I’m seeing is Jo Adell is way better than Shohei Ohtani.

    Angels, crafty move.

I can only assume Judge is equally badass with or without RISP.
