  1. I think this was a good trade. But I don’t think this should be our only “bigger trade” we need more bullpen help, and a catcher. I also think, we should keep most of our guys, I don’t think we should trade a Nico Hoerner or A Jameson taillon.

  2. Sam "jokingly" said you'd get a Mike & Ikes for Morel. Granted they had to throw in Bigge and a prospect. But this is way more than I ever thought a Morel trade could headline, considering he's hitting under the mendoza line this year.

  3. My guess is if they were 56-51 rn they probably don’t make this deal, because if they were that means Morel is probably performing at a higher level.

  4. This trade is garbage we traded for a guy hitting 250 with the lowest velo in the majors and we gave up a relief pitcher who can hit a 100 mph could be closer for 10 years.

  5. So glad Morel is gone , we waited a year too long. Surprised we got an Allstar 3rd baseman for him and pieces. Chris is a great guy and hope he does well but this had to happen

  6. The Cardinals have Helsley but we don't, so we trade away a guy in Bigge who could become a Helsley and give up on Morel a lil too soon. That's a " bad take " imo

  7. When Swanson & Happ are part of your core, it's going to be hard for prospects to develop. Swanson & Happ are hurting this team the most. I wish that they can unload at least one of them.
