My new dream scenario is that HOU, with looming extensions for Sengun/Green this off-season and Jabari/Tari next offseason, decide to consolidate Jabari and Tari into Lauri Markannen.
Danny Ainge then decides that neither Jabari nor Tari have true star potential and he doesn’t want to extend them for a combined 50% of the cap in 2026, so he flips their combined $13M in salary to the Sixers for KJ, McCain, and 4 firsts.
This will never happen because I think the Rockets just sell Green at the deadline instead of their wings. Also, Ainge would probably just keep Jabari/Tari instead of random firsts. But let me dream.
