8. Decent trade for a guy thats a solid hitter with low strikeout rates. Gives us a decent option at first that can share time with vosler or Raley. I just need to see another higher tier bat and maybe another reliever.

20. I'm cool with this. Turner is a reliable veteran piece to add. But hopefully something bigger is on the way. If they call it good this is yet another wasted opportunity by this franchise.

    The used car salesmen in Toronto had us test driving Vlad then they come back saying the financing fell through in that deal but we can get you into Justin Turner. He has been driving great and should make it through the last half of this year.

Would be great if he was a bench bat or DH over Garver problem is after we sat by and watched jazz and Paredes go for peanuts I'm convinced we are not getting anyone else and Randy and Turner being the two bats we add at the deadline is a actual joke this is unacceptable not a single top 10 prospect got traded for Paredes or Jazz it was guys in 20s rankings and for Paredes a MLB player batting .190 you telling me we couldnt have traded 1-2 of our top 10 and beat both those deals!?

28. not a bad trade dudes been hitting very nicely since the beginning of June so I'm happy with this trade. if the mariners can get one more good bat maybe a brent rooker that would be sweet

30. Turner is a great veteran pick-up. With the Mariners pitching, defense, and the newest bats. We are in a great position to win the AL West.

    This is especially true if we can acquire one additional bat, middle relief, and closer.

Ya lets start Mitch Garver at DH instead of Turner. Garver hits the pine and Justin is our new starting DH. I would give Garver away for a candy bar before the deadline.

38. It’s doesn’t matter if VG jr was available mariners are too cheap to sign him although that rental wouldn’t be bad. Turner is more than a bench player this guy can hit that ball and that’s what the SM need.

40. I think this is a great move. We didn't really have a legit 1st baseman, now we have an above average hitter there for what once was one of the worst hitting teams in the league. Hard not to like it for the rest of 2024.
