8. As a Mariners fan, it was brutal to see the strike 3 with 2 outs not called, and then giving up 7 runs! Our team has gotta hold it together in those moments, especially Gilbert! gg

15. You can't win games at Fenway unless you shut down the Red Sox offense. Dreadful baseball game tonight, Castillo and Kirby need to step up and win this series.

16. As tough to take as the call on the strike 3 in the 4th inning was, it cost us nothing in and of itself. You throw the next pitch as a strike and we’re still out of the inning scoreless. Gilbert is great, but composure in those situations is perhaps his Achilles heel.

23. The Ump missing that strike 3 changed the outcome of the game dramatically. He gets thay call correct, thats 6 runs off the board and Logan doesnt get pulled after 3 innings, potentially taking even more runs off the board.

    At the very least, the offense looked good. 7 runs scored is nice change of pace from 0-2 runs

24. Someone on here at one time wondered if the Mariners' batters were intentionally whiffing in protest of ownership. I started to believe that, and was surprised to see things pick up some once trades were finally made.

    Now I'm starting to wonder if Gilbert was equally pissed for being out of action for so long, including the chance he could have had at the All-Star Game.

    They are a pit of wasted time and disappointment

26. In spite of the loss, that is now the 4th comsecutive game that the mariners have scored 6 or more runs. I'm feeling somewhat optomistic.
