Its unfortunately true. I used to love going to the dome growing up and MBS is a great stadium, but it really has priced out a lot of fans.
There’s a handful of teams that will sellout every game regardless of how bad the team is, and then there’s the majority of teams that won’t have support when they suck. Just the way it is.

This is the worst thing about being a fan of the Hawks and Falcons. The fans are so fickle. However, both franchises don’t try to help their cause. The Braves don’t seem to have this problem. Maybe actually winning and having revered history motivates a fanbase. Who knew.
Compared to Green Bay yes there is a lot more to do in Atlanta lol.
In my opinion yes the city does not support the falcons but any city does not support trash nor should it. You have to give them a reason to support and frankly since 2017 the team has been bad.
Look at Atlanta united. Despite being mediocre the fanbase is great. How do they get rewarded? Increase in ticket prices with no improvement in the on field product. Loyalty goes both ways.
If my business sells a trash product, can I blame the consumer? Begging for fans instead of fixing the franchise is weird.
This is an example of the Falcons having other people’s attention for the first time in a long time. For this dude to talk like that especially just arriving on the scene as a relevant WR says a lot. He was a nobody early on. The Falcons have taken some attention away from his Lions this offseason. I can’t argue with the attendance comment but Falcons fans want results, unlike Lions fans who had accepted losing for decades.
