We were walking towards our car after a Mets game and saw Gary getting into his Audi convertible. We yelled, “you’re the best Gary… We love you”. He looked up at us with a confused look on his face and said, “Me? I didn’t do anything” as he drove away.
It was such a cool, subtle moment that my wife and I will never forget.
