Good call. Nothing to prove from getting one drive in preseason.
For whatever reason “unlikely to play in preseason” is what was leaked, but I think he’s playing the giants game again for sure
Makes more sense than it did last year to play him
i selfishly wanted Rodgers to play in the second so I could see him in Carolina, but I understand the need to be not stupid
He should play. Hasn’t played in 2 years coming off an Achilles at 40 years old. I better not hear the bull if he gets off to a slow start that he’s shaking off rust…

i had a WTF moment but the jets are doing joint practices again this year, with the commies, giants and panthers. even its more of a “planned” scrimmages with planned situations, the jets 1’s will go up against the other teams 1’s. the actual preseason game will be a showcase to see how our “on the edge” roster guys perform under the lights, something a 20 year vet doesn’t necessarily need.
