  1. Was bummed he got blocked by Yuta towards the end of regulation, had a huge perimeter block just before that

  2. Like he often has with the Wolves, he had the highest +/- of the team. It’s interesting how that trend continues with the national team. There were Rudy moments in the game that make you frustrated, but he still impacts the game and plays winning basketball.

  3. With the underwhelming exhibitions, a slow start against Brazil, and today’s ref aided win France seems to be hanging by a thread.

He shined in OT, but I was shocked how bad Wemby looked in regulation. Some guy named Josh Hawkinson was giving it to him. He just seemed to be wistlessly floating around.

I’m not even blaming Wemby for it though. At times it looks like the rest of the team forgets he may be their biggest advantage. Like Fournier, Yabusele, and Strazel almost took half of the entire team’s field goal attempts. I don’t know if FIBA/Olympics track usage rate, but no way was Wemby’s high enough today.

  4. I don’t get Collet (France head coach), his team biggest advantage over Japan was height and he played big minutes with both Wemby and Rudy on the bench.
