OK Guys, the Montreal Canadiens have signed 23 year old defensemen Arber Xhekaj! To a brand new contract. Valued at 1.3 million dollars per season.. He’s signed for 2 years right now.. and in my opinion it’s a very team friendly contract. Lets chat about it!

  5. As much as i love wifi these two years will be make or break in my eyes injury wise, if he is injury prone, as good as he is I'm tired of seeing the habs broken at every turn

  6. Take it from a Florida fan, you can't win it all without some grit and the occasional punch to a rats face. Love the Xhekaj signing. He will be a mainstay for some time.

  8. Yes! It's a beautiful thing. The only player I've ever seen put a wrister through the mesh. He will be nothing but better as this contract ages. Get the safe wide open in 2 years, Geoff Molson.

  12. Leafs fan here and I personally think the Habs are going to be the Canadian team to bring that cup home. And soon. No other Canadian team will.

  23. Good deal for the Habs, and WiFi still has more to prove before almost any team would sign him to term. If he plays his way up the roster, he'll get the contract he earned next time.
