11. I'd like us to get rid of Neris. I'm tired of turning the game off when he takes the mound!!

12. Cubs swindled the Yankees. Leiter might be decent for a couple of years and then fall off the cliff due to age. The two young players the Cubs got should be productive for the next 10 to 15 years. And anyway, Leiter is only good for maybe 1 inning 3 or 4 games a week and he's not even a closer. Cubs got a potential closer and someone who can potentially be in the lineup every day.

14. As a life long Yankee fan, Neely is a great get for the Cubbies.. he might be as good as Leiter right now.

16. I just don’t like dealing with the Yankees and/or dodgers, but I knew Leiter was going somewhere, too bad it wasn’t Neris instead

17. Really hoping that some of the prospects make the club and make a difference. Or get used as currency for a bigger move. We will see

18. Leiter Jr is the perfect situation. Minor league find, turns into value pitcher for two years, then gets some prospects in return on a trade. Perfectly done.

20. It always amazes me that so many fans get involved in the salaries of players. I could care less how much Ricketts spends. More concerned about ticket prices/ food at the park

33. Hey Cubs fans don't get too excited about this trade both players are raw and there is a reason that they were #22 @#29 in the Yankees organization. That said they needed to trade Hoerner , Happ or Suzuki, Neris Taillon and give Hendricks away and possibly Assod while his trade value is good. Give the kids a chance to play. Shaw ,Cassie, Triantos ,Alcantera, Ballesteros ect . Sorry for the spelling
