Bendix moving methodically, saving money for the next window, and clearing the slate. I hope Bell's move also saves a nice chunk of money. Other than Sandy Alcantara, who can be moved anytime when he returns (hope not), Bendix has a completely untethered roster to make whatever moves he wants. The retained/sunk money (other than what is due for Stanton starting in 2026) will also be cleared at the end of the season. This is a classic prep strategy. Regarding Rogers, he might need a change of venue. As with Chisholm, I certainly wish Rogers the best with a very talented Orioles team that could easily be the AL World Series representative.
