1. Maybe? But based on the dozens of “draft steals” we’ve had in the past, probably not?

5. I remember when Tyler Madden was seen as a 3rd round steal. I just temper my expectations on prospects until they have atleast made it to the AHL level in their development curve.

6. I remember when Gaudette, Lind, Jurmo, McDonough, Madden, Rathbone, Lockwood, were “steals” in reality our drafting outside of the 1st round sucks. How many guys have we hit on outside of round one, or even how many have become NHL regulars in the last 10 years? Demko, Hoglander and hopefully Silovs. Hope D-Petey joins that list, but yeah outside of round 1 we arent very good at drafting, still hurts that we couldve had Stankoven but took Klimovich…
