They talk about Dobnak like he’s battling to escape life as an impoverished minor leaguer, but he’s been been on a 5-year contract this whole time, getting paid the same as if he didn’t turn into a pumpkin. I’m happy a nice guy is getting another chance to be in the majors, but it’s not like playing AAA for 30 times the average salary isn’t a cushy job.
