  1. The goal here imo shiuld be save maxi for playoffs ie 13th -11th on the roster
Bolster omaxs minutes then perhaps we can trade him for very grat value

  2. I don't think DFS is worth Maxi plus a first round pick. Their numbers are very similar. In other words, DFS is just a younger smaller version of Maxi. Of course, I like DFS as a bench player but we would be giving away a first round pick without improving the spot on the roster.

  3. I liked this video but I hope Maxi stays playing the 4, if the mavs actually sign Jamarion Sharp then the team shouldn't need maxi playing center and he can stick to power forward where he's a better fit.

  4. I'd say Maxi is much better than most people think: he has the size, valuable defender and at times very solid with the 3, but the rest meh.
The trade is a horrible idea when you put in a first round pick.

  5. Dorian is better in a vacuum at this point, but I don't like the idea of giving up a first round pick for that upgrade. He always played bigger than he was and I wouldn't consider him a defensive downgrade from Kleber at this point, Maxi's defense isn't what it used to be. His shooting numbers in Brooklyn are a little concerning and while he's younger than Maxi he's still over 30. Not the kind of guy I would use a first round pick for a minor upgrade

  6. Why trade? Wait until the end of next season and talk to DFS about waiving his Player Option for $15m with Brooklyn…then sign him to the MLE for 3 years at $12m when the cap goes up and we have a teeny bit bit of space again
