  1. I feel like this is a decent haul. A lot of my friends weren't pleased at all, but you have to remember the Mets weren't really "in" on this year, it was supposed to be a rebuild year or transition year or whatever. I think even if we make it to the wild card and that's it, the season was a largely unexpected success. The future is brighter if that's the case since we didn't give up major prospects this deadline as well.

    SERIES WIN TN PLS LGM

  2. Always get disappointed by this team during trade deadline everyteam does better than us . couldn't trade Baty .Sterns shops in clearance section in stores

  3. Yes – a decent haul for very little risk and not a lot of money. The financial guns are being loaded to sign Soto and hopefully resign Pete Alonso if he continues to build on what he has done in the last couple days or so.

  4. How in the world can Sterns and the New York media call this buying? All they did was replace the problems on their rotation and bullpen. They replaced McGill with Blackburn and Diekman with…. They didn’t buy anything. You can’t even call Winker buying. He just replaced Stewart. smh

All that money and they want to be frugal and let the fan base and the actual team down with these low level moves

  5. The Tigers would have traded Skubal from the Mets for infielders you could have trade Ty Mcgill Baty Parade Mauricio Ramirez to Detroit for Skubal. Tigers are desperate for fielders Mauricio As not spot unless you trade McNeal over the winter. Baty is not MLB hitter but a change to another organization. Parada has no foreseeable future with Alvarez here. McGill needs a fresh start also.
