  1. I don’t get why we didn’t trade Anderson,Strickland, and pillar. I could understand keeping rengifo only if you resign him to a team friendly deal. Ward has two more years of control and could rebound next season and you could get the same or better prospects so I understand it a little bit. If they don’t go for it this offseason I’m done watching games for a couple of years.

  2. I don't understand Arte Moreno. Last year; as hopeless as I knew it was, I understood his desire to keep Ohtani. The unwillingness to at least move Tyler Anderson this year is simply mindboggling.

The Tampa Bay Rays put on a clinic at this trade deadline on how to restock a minor league system. Granted, they do this more than anyone else. In contrast; with the exception of the two relievers they traded for decent prospects, the Angels put on a clinic on how to remain mediocre.

  3. Oh boy…we have Anderson for 2025 now. If he maintains his '24 pace, (which is unlikely) the Halos might get to 75 wins next year. For joy.

  4. I smell Moreno all over this major whiff. A seller's market where we can restock our minor leagues and they only manage to move two relievers? It's embarrassing and demoralizing. The fifth worst record in baseball and we just lost 6 of 7 to the A's and we are keeping Regnifo who has never been a starter– begins every season on the bench. Ward hitting under .230. Moniak barely above .200. Adell below .200. Anderson is 35. Pillar had a market and he's still here. The Dodgers, Padres and Giants all adding. Tampa, Florida and Chicago all selling off– but not us. This is where a fan will tell me how great our players are– the same way they did with Fletcher, Walsh, Rendon, Adell and on and on the over- evaluations go. I need a drink.

  5. The fact that they didn't trade Anderson, Strickland, Moore, Drury and Pillar boggles my mind. Let's start with Drury because I think it's a fair point. You're telling me that the Padres or Dodgers (more specifically the Dodgers) aren't looking for a guy who can play multiple infield positions? Even if we got prospects with little to no promise I would have been more excited than I am right now.

  6. I want to be in a closed door room with Perry and ask him why in the past many years we have not had a typical power home run hitting 3B. Rendon AGAIN is on the IL. Who are we fooling here. I get back inflammation when I wake up in the morning. That’s been a position that has been bad, I think if we could have got a prospect that plays 3B, it could help our future.

  7. If the floodgates would’ve opened then who would be on the field?. Everybody was way too gung ho to gut the team and that’s stupid. I think it was a good measured trade deadline for theAngels.
