Kidd, 51, watched practice in a Steelers sweatshirt along with Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison. He told his boss he’d love to come get a peek “behind the curtain” at Tomlin’s process, and it turned into a three-day trip of sitting in on meetings, observing Tomlin’s press conferences and chatting with players on the sideline. He also was told to make sure he had an up-close view for the physicality baked into the backs-on-backers drill and laughed that he doesn’t think he could’ve been a football player.

Was there some relationship there before, or just random?
TIL that Nico has a twitter account with less than 600 followers
As a Cowboys fan, I’m not really sure how I feel about this.
