6. I just get so irritated because we’re like one move away from being the favorite. I know those trades are hard to pull off, but sometimes you got to go for it and offer up the house for Vlad so you go and win a World Series. I like our moves, but is it enough to make a deep run in the playoffs? I guess we’ll see

9. I honestly think we needed to bring in 1 more bat. I like the Turner pick up, but his glove is not good. There was a ball hit right at him last night, and the ball went right underneath his glove. We should have traded for Yandy Diaz from the Rays so he could be our everyday 1B and Turner could be our everyday DH. I do like the pickups, don't get me wrong, but I feel like we fell a little short.

11. It would be easier to understand this deadline had he traded even one top prospect. He can say there was no one available but did he offer Tai Pete, get turned down but not then offer Cole Young?

12. Also was the fact that the next bat acquired clearly forces Hanniger off the roster a factor?
