Win a couple more championships and Celtics ownership goes from owning a team worth $5 billion to owning a team worth $8 or 9 billion. So why would they care about paying $300 million in luxury taxes? Even if they operated at a total loss, it's all tax deductible. That's just the business of building brand value.☘
