  1. I will say the ump was TRASH. Definitely effected the game and Kershaw’s performance, plus he was being backed up by the Bad News Bears.

  2. Friedman and gomes are hot dog💩. Kershaw was rushed from his injury and the team is suffering from their failures of not making contingency plans, a shohei signing will never convince me they're worth a fuck.

  3. Kershaw is done let him retire already and hire him as the new pitching coach, what this team is doing is unfair to Clayton and the fans

  4. They brought him back too soon. He might need to wait till 2025 to rebound . Or he might retire if he thinks he's lost it. I thought it was a bad idea to bring him up before he was ready. He's still in recovery. The best thing is to bring him back down and bring him along slowly and carefully. Then if he's ready in September reinstate him. If not , then check back in october one round at a time if necessary. If he's not ready this year ,okay. Next year gives his arm more time to recover and maybe regain some strength. There's nothing wrong with that scenario. They have enough pitching to finish the year rotation wise. They have Ryan,Glasnow,Stone,Knack,Wrobleski, Yamamoto, and Flaherty. The depth is a little thin but the season is winding down . And if they don't make the postseason that's fine. They've had alot of injuries this year. They just gotta make sure they don't overwork anybody on the pitching staff to finish the season. And the last four or five guys in the bullpen need to be shut down completely for a month or two even to recover from Dave trying to force wins out of them. They're dead right now. They need to recover and be shut down completely for up to TWO MONTHS!!!!! That list includes Phillips,Trienan,Hudson, and Vesia especially before he needs Tommy John surgery from Dave inducing a cataclysm in Vesia's arm! Clayton might be ready later but not as a starter. Possibly as an opener or middle inning relief for three innings could be the best case scenario we can expect from Kershaw. He may not hit his bonuses though. Well . He could always opt out next year and sign a new contract. As long as Dave is managing they're going to need duct tape every year . And they can expect to lose every year.

  5. And they have problems dealing with the Padres. San Diego's hitting looks solid even with the Dodgers at full strength . And they're pitching is much better. Dylan Cease is an Ace this year. What a surprise. And their bullpen additions are formidable against anyone's lineup. The Padres are tough this year. That's going to put pressure on any lineup if they have a lead or close in the score approaching the fifth or sixth innings in games . And with Dave screwing up so often you could set your watch to it , it's likely going to be much harder to overcome the pressure the Padres might bring this year. There's never been a tougher team the Dodgers have faced within the division during the Friedman era.

  6. Any person who thinks Kershaw is still a good starter is delusional. He hasn't been good for the past 3 years. if the Dodgers put him as starter for the post season forget about it it's gonna be the same results. Multiple runs will score..🤦‍♂️

  7. The ONLY way the Dodgers win the World Series or let alone get out of the first round is if they GET RID OF Dave Roberts AND Andrew Friedman !!!!

  8. Go Dodgers go Go and lose baby Long live the Padres I'm going to take a page out of the raider Nation and state this for the friar faithful just win baby and beat LA

  9. Kershaw should be shut down with expectations curtailed. Both he and Buehler at best might be relievers. Middle relief too expectation wise. Anything extra would be a bonus.

  10. I said it on his last game, and I say it again on this second game that Kersh is no longer the same pitcher than the pitcher before shoulder surgery. His velocity and spin rate is down.

  11. With Muncy coming back and Edman projected to slot in left it looks like they have eight guys for 4 spots as subs in the infield and outfield. Taylor,Kike,Keirmier,Biggio,Ahmed,Rosario,Ahmed, and Rojas. They might have a little more roster depth than San Diego. The Padres are stronger at the manager position. By far! Their lineup hits for average. And power. The Dodgers at full strength looks a little stronger on the infield. They look stronger in the outfield maybe. And their DH is a hitting machine that sort of counters Freeman's bat without the power dynamic. Their bullpen looks great at the back end. Their pitching staff and offense look comparable but not as deep as LA's. The backend of their bullpen is superior. Depending on how healthy both teams are by October it looks like a tight match between LA and San Diego. Probably. If the nation can hold up that long. It's looking pretty grim out there.

  12. So I'm a Padre fan but I'm not here to talk trash or say we own the Dodgers now. I'm not naive to say that because they aren't at full strength and when healthy are a very dominant team. However I will say I think if they continue to struggle it could affect their playoff chances. I don't mean missing the playoffs but going deep into the playoffs. Right now this team us very fractured and if the Dodgers fall short again this year Roberts needs to go. He tried to pull a fast one the other night because he can't manage well at all. He is a failure plain and simple. Sure he can win 100 games but he can't manage the team when it counts. I don't mind because again I'm a Padres fan so this makes me happy. However I still think they are dangerous and shouldn't be taken lightly. The Padres have done very well against them this year but I'm not ready to say we arrived but I think the gap is getting closer. Anyway I just wanted to give my two cents in an objective manner. Of course I love to trash talk and it's fun but in this case I wanted to give a more measured comment. Go Padres but do not think LA is going away lightly. That is foolish.
