As a Boston fan I am not looking forward to playing MTL the next 8-12 years. Such a solid young core.
Hoes be mad 😅
they will still suck next year, worst 3rd and 4th lines in the NHL, a pourous D and sloppy netminding. That's ok, but they will suck
Atlantic is such a rough division.
Toronto with their highest goal scorer.
Boston with their grit and goal tending.
Tampa with their consistency.
Florida and Bob.
Ottawa has uped behind the Blueline this offseason.
Atlantic is busted.
No Veteran core for this team. Terrible goaltending and defense. Missing the playoffs again by at least 10 points. Sorry Habs fans 🙁
A NJ-Montreal conference final in a few years would go insane.
Josh Anderson as a trade asset — that shipped sailed long ago.
The next season, I don't think that they will make the playoffs.
First off, the core team and kid who will make the team are still too young and need more experience before they can compete against the best teams.
I'm giving 2 seasons before they start to be competitive.
Habs are a joke 🤣🤣🤣
What really derailed the Habs under Bergevin in my mind was the lock-out shortened season. They had a decent first draft under Bergevin but played over their heads after the lock-out ended. From 3rd last in the league to first in the division should have been a warning sign . It was a misleading 1st place finish in the division. The attempted quick fixes were on from that point until Bergevin was fired.
Montreal's current core is signed at less than 30 millions per year
Nick Suzuki – 7.8m
Cole Caufield – 7.8m
Juraj Slafkovsky – 7.6m
Kaiden Ghule – 5.5m
Just imagine how loaded this team is gonna be once their big contract expire (Anderson, Gallagher, Armia)
Three full years of a rebuild and not too many fans aren’t happy.
Patrick Laine !
I'm not worried, there will be major leaps taken forward this year with the roster. Experience and age tend to improve over time when you have the talent they have moving forward.
You listed all 5 guys that won't be with the team within 2 years. 23 year olds will be 25 year olds then.
as a Montreal fan that's why i love watching the team now to see the progression and rebuilt going with Kent is just 👌
slaf or demidov feeding pucks to caufield while suzuki is a defensive beast in the future gonna go crazy
So many salty comments here. I can't wait to shove their record over the next cpl years and the cups they will win sooner than any other Canadian team in your faces. Go Habs Go!!! Best stable in the business and only improving. Where are my shade?
Gallagher – Newhook – Armia were a great line for the habs to end last season. I expect them to be the 3rd line. Gallagher contract is fine if he can play like he did to end the year.
Commenting so more people see the vid
impressed! stay away from (( re Habs like Laine, PLD. or a Stamkos…maybe they can OFFER SHEET Mc Drysaitl when Oilrs try to under pay him….
Best GM in the league, and it’s not even close
Next video: The Ottawa Senators are totally messing around…
For the first time in literal ages, the Habs are taking the appropriate time to build a team properly. I'm real happy about that
