It’s been a month but I still can’t believe we got him at FIVE.
Thanks Anaheim for taking Sennecke, and double extra massive thanks for Columbus (and sleeper agent Timmins) for taking Lindstrom AND for not trading #4 to Chicago (despite their insane trade offer).
We properly owe Columbus.
I’m thinking of Demidov-Hutson on the PP.
I’ll admit, I haven’t followed the Habs much since Subban was traded, that really stung me back then but this kid makes me want to watch. Sportsnet is trash but I’ll pay up.
I’ll get excited when he’s here and he does some of these good things. Till then he’s a kid with lots of potential, nothing more and nothing less. I’ve seen quite a few come and go, some had successful careers in the NHL some didn’t, some never even made the team, and absolutely none in over 40 years have been the promised saviour. The NHL is still the best league in the world by far, let’s see him make the team and then play a season or two…
