Don’t think anyone expected him to be cut at this point, but still nice to see Julian confirmed to be getting his money. Hopefully he plays well coming off the bench.

Dude gets too much hate.
Solid player, with defense and range, still young with room to grow. On a bargain bin contract to boot. Spurs will enjoy this contract until the last day. At this point he should be a rotation guy off the bench, playing other bench, and learning (should have been last year too, but alas, spacing). I believe.
