I’m not one of those fans that over hypes every prospect we have but man I absolutely love the fact we drafted this dude.
Likely going to be 6’2 ~200-205 pounds when he’s done growing, shoots right , and plays a strong defensive game while also blocking shots. Throw in the fact that he’s apparently a natural leader and what more could you want? Even if he caps as a #4 guy who can play ~19-20 minutes plus the PK, I think that’s great value for where we got him. Really looking forward to seeing what this dude can become.

What’s him signing an ELC now mean, though? I’ve heard about how the start of the contract is delayed until a certain point, and I doubt he plays for a while yet. Is it just a show of good faith or is there an incentive to get it done sooner?
This is why you hold on to draft picks at the trade deadline. I’d love to have more than we have now.
