“Perhaps it would be wise to move your tailgate indoors next Friday?
The Milwaukee Brewers announced a buy-one-get-one beer promotion for Aug. 9, the team’s next home game against the Cincinnati Reds, allowing fans of legal drinking age to purchase two drinks for the price of one early in the evening.
The promotion, tied to International Beer Day, runs from 5:10 p.m. when gates open to 7:40 p.m. In the meantime, the showdown with the National League Central rival will begin at 7:10 p.m.
The promotion will apply to 16-ounce drafts of Miller Lite and Coors Light, 16-ounce cans of both beers as well as Miller High Life and 12-ounce cans of Vizzy Seltzer. Those drinks are found at concession stands throughout American Family Field.”
