BREAKING: Dallas Mavericks Sign Standout Center From NBA Summer League In 2024 NBA Free Agency
The Mavs have made a signing in 2024 NBA Free Agency as Jamarion Sharp has agreed to a one-year deal! Sharp played for the Mavs in the 2024 NBA Summer League and impressed Mavericks GM Nico Harrison enough to earn a one-year non guaranteed contract. Sharp will be with the Mavs for training camp before the 2024-25 NBA Season, and could sign with the team on a two-way deal or be the final guy on the Mavs’ roster. Sharp played at Ole Miss in 2023-24 before going undrafted and signing with the Mavs.

I was forced to watch him at ole miss. Didn’t even start for us and he’s hot garbage. Not trying to hate, but he’s 7’5 and can’t defend or get a rebound if u actually watch him. He’s 5x worse than boban imo, would rather have Powell playing.
It's about time! I always have believed that a stay in paint center was missing in the roster. Just to hover and leave Gafford,pj and Lively can cover the perimeter!

C+ Sharp is incredibly raw in terms of talent. It's true you can't teach 7'5, but let's not act like he'll play anytime soon.
These are the luxury of being a contender where your camp invites, 2 way, etc. don't matter at all, and you can sign whoever the hell you want like these unique guys like Sharp
I’m concerned that he will never get to play. He only averaged 3.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game at 22 years of age. The odds are that he will never be as productive as a Dwight Powell. He’s 7’5 but what good is hype with no skill? Again he’s 22 and didn’t dominate in college like Shawn Bradley did in his one and done at BYU. Thank God Dallas has Daniel and Derrick!
