  1. Madden has been terrible for over a decade now. Absolute travesty what EA has gotten away with developing the game.

  2. madden always craps on texans, since 2005 from what I can remember. For the players and playbooks
I don’t buy it anymore because they can’t even copy and paste right or change the playbooks.

  3. Don’t they usually update ratings as the season goes on? Haven’t touched Madden since 13.

Either way, you’re still nuts if you’re putting Dak Prescott in any top 5.

  4. He’s listed as an 81 overall. That’s lower than Rodgers and Stafford at 83 and Goff at 82. It’s also tied with Jordan Love.

I know they don’t like to give really good ratings to guys after just one good year, but I find it hard to believe that he would be ranked out of the gate as like the 13th or 14th best QB in the league.

  5. Don’t get it twisted, I love Kirko and respect Aaron Rodgers. But why the hell is CJ, Love, and Jared Goff ranked lower than those two when they objectively had much better years than Rodgers and Cousins by simply playing the entire season?

Goff, CJ, and Love should be 85 overall minimum.

  6. Madden raters just go “Ahh they went deep in the playoff and/or won a superbowl, give them a good rating” But peoples gambling addiction makes them buy it year after year

  7. The developers for Madden are cowgirls fans, of course they’re going to rate our guys low. That being said, Stroud usually progresses into a superstar very quickly lol

  8. Because every single player up there has had more than one year of play time, which I think Madden takes into account.

  9. Vince Young was the next best thing – and then we wasn’t.

CJ will have to another or better year than last year and then the hype will be all in him.

  10. The majority of these make sense. But I still think dudes have Herbert overrated on all these lists. I am not even a Cousins guy but if you are putting resume and game success I would not put Herbert over Cousins. If this is all potential I get that but top ten based on actual success, he shouldn’t be on the list

  11. His passing/mobility stats are great, it’s just his AWR rating that brings him down (they gave him a 78). If they boosted that up to 90 like he deserves, he’d be in the top 7.

Anyways, his passing related stats are in the mid-to-high 80s so you’ll be able to ball with him no problem

  12. I don’t think Deshaun Watson ever hit the 90s at launch when he was at his peak with us. No sweat though, video game numbers don’t really mean shit and they’ll let their skill do all their talking.
